Day 2: One Most Important Item For Today (15 Days To Freedom Blogging Challenge)

Today is Day 2 of the 15 Days To Freedom Blogging Challenge called out by Natalie Sisson!

The challenge for today is to identify ONE, just one Most Important Action (MIA) for today that will give me or my business the most leverage for the next 2 weeks.

I always have a million things I need to be doing as I’m growing my business and always have at least 3 different projects going, along with training and taking classes and reading. BUT, when you do everything, you accomplish nothing, SO today, I am choosing just ONE important task that will make a huge difference in my business. And since I’m at it, I will choose one important task for the next 7 days and will stick on working just on those items.

Here it goes:

January 16, 2015 MIA: Work on editorial calendar

January 17, 2015 MIA: Work on business plan

January 18, 2015 MIA: Work on marketing plan

January 19, 2015 MIA: Work on financial projections and break-even analysis

January 20, 2015 MIA: Work on fleshing out the existing outline of the non-fiction book

January 21, 2015: Work on re-write of the pending novel

January 22, 2015: Work on creating an outline for the new novel

If I end up not completing any of the MIAs that day, they will get assigned to the next day and that day’s MIA will get shifted to the following day.

Let’s do this!

  2. good for you! you should give yourself incentives – a prize for each one you complete. A friend of mine had her accountability partner put money in a jar for every day she was late on a project. Needless to say, the projects got done when she realized how much money she could lose. LOL.
